About Me

I have been working with code and developing software products for 4 years, most recently as a full-stack software engineer at a local point of sale startup called Round 2 POS. I am located in the Pittsburgh area and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a major in Information Technology and dual minors in Cybersecurity and Art.

Latest Work Experience

Full-Stack Software Engineer - Round 2 POS

• Collaborated in a team to help create the company's CRM web app using Svelte, Postgres, and Hasura to track sales activity, track company inventory, and on-board new merchants
• Contributed to and took ownership of a Flutter Android app version of the CRM, expanded functionality to integrate the Google Places API so salespeople could more accurately track leads as well as a way to upload documents through the app to be viewable on the web CRM, display relevant sales metrics to managers visually using charts, and allow technicians to manage inventory using the phone camera to scan barcodes
• Took ownership and led development for a Flutter Android app to run on a payment device used by many local merchants to accept credit, debit, gift and EBT payments with configurable settings that can be updated live from the web CRM
• Collaborated in a small team to architect, build, deploy and support a Flutter desktop application to run on cash register POS terminals utilizing Balena Cloud and Docker to allow the software to be updated remotely through the web CRM
• Took ownership and expanded functionality on an Android app to run on a payment device and interface with the POS terminal app over LAN to accept payments for sales initiated on the cash register system
